Here at Aik Moh, we recognise the importance of giving back to society, and we exercise this through our Corporate Social Responsibility programs. For this year, we teamed up with The Food Bank Singapore. They are an organisation geared towards ending food insecurity of all forms in Singapore.
In August 2023, our staff volunteered to assist The Food Bank Singapore in its efforts to create a food-secure future. We facilitated this operation through the sorting of donations, ensuring that the beneficiaries have access to unexpired consumables that they need. Additionally, we aided in the packing process, ensuring that the correct food items were delivered.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the people at The Food Bank Singapore for the support and opportunity to collaborate for good.

As the rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic continued to rise, demand for sanitization products shot up.
Aik Moh, a leading distributor of chemicals, played an important role in this difficult time. We
stepped up, adjusting our production & services to support the demand for hygiene and essential products.
Aik Moh believes in being socially responsible and has taken the initiative to address the shortage and
support community needs.
In coordination with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Aik Moh contributed 8 tons
of ethanol for the manufacture of hand sanitisers. As we continued to respond to this
pandemic outbreak, we believed that this essential product was beneficial to many individuals.
Let us continue to stay strong. And together, we will get through this.
“Thank you for your confidence and continued trust in Singapore. I am sure we will all emerge stronger from this.”
– Khalil A. Bakar, Vice President and Head, Chemicals & Materials, EDB Singapore
After taking a short hiatus, we took time off to cultivate relationships among our employees; forging a stronger bond within our corporation with the society.
In June 2019, we reached out to Dignity Kitchen, a Social Enterprise in Singapore; and participated in a mini bite-size social outreach activity, “COOK, BAKE & SERVE” held at their office. This activity allowed our employees to engage with their specially-abled staff through the context of food preparation and with the dishes prepared, we served to old folks who will visit Dignity Kitchen for their free lunch.
Special Thanks to Dignity Kitchen, our team had a blast.
“Share what you have, do what you can.”
