AIK MOH Sustainability Commitment

Aik Moh cares about the environment and is constantly looking for ways to provide its stakeholders with more sustainable services and products. Striving to not only remain compliant with the legal requirements but to go above and beyond these obligations.

We are committed to reducing our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 30% by 2030 for our Singapore operations
(3 factories) using FY 2022/23 as a baseline. We are also in the progress of working on and auditing our carbon emissions data for operations outside Singapore and will revise our whole Group target shortly.  

Aik Moh will work towards setting our Net-Zero timeline target (aligning 2050).  This is a big commitment and we are taking this target seriously.  We are currently working on innovative solutions and new technologies to reduce our own emissions.  This also involved working together with our suppliers & 3rd party service providers.  We will continue to educate and encourage employees to play their part in creating a sustainable culture.  Together, we can make a difference.

  • Comply with all environmental legislation, utilising codes of practice and guidance established by regulatory organizations as required.
  • Provide all employees with the resources, equipment, information, education, and training they need to fulfil the policy's requirements.
  • Incorporate environmental best practices into all aspects of our business operations.
  • Prevent environmental contamination by making sure that we use all chemicals responsibly.
  • Minimise waste to landfill by reducing our waste generation and by segregating and recycling waste where economically and operationally feasible.
  • Plan business mileage to enhance fuel efficiency.
  • Use energy, water, materials, and other natural resources as efficiently as possible, with regard to the long-term sustainability of consumable items.
  • Ensure that the environment is considered when purchasing goods and services.
  • Continually implement appropriate controls, set targets to reduce our environmental impact, measure our progress through regular management reviews and make course corrections as necessary.
  • Make available our supplier Code of Conduct to all suppliers on our website.
  • Engage with our stakeholders, shareholders, and communities and are committed to being a good neighbor and partner.

Achieving Carbon Management Excellence

Aik Moh takes pride in its commitment to carbon management, with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. We are thrilled to announce that our diligent approach, including our Scope 1 & 2 Reduction Plan for our Singapore operations, has contributed to our Intermediate score. With a target of reducing 194 tons of CO2 equivalent (CO2E) by 2030, we have set an eight-year timeline to achieve our goals. We are actively working towards realizing our reduction targets, by proactively managing our carbon footprint, we strive to make a significant contribution to combatting climate change and inspire positive action within our industry.
